Installing Memurai for Linux

Binaries are released in the form of a debian package that can be installed with the following command from the directory where the package was downloaded:

sudo dpkg -i memurai*.deb

That will install memurai-server, memurai-sentinel and memurai-cli and utilities memurai-check-aof, memurai-check-rdb.exe and memurai-benchmark. It also installs a default configuration file /etc/memurai/memurai.conf.

Memurai service

The installation will also setup one instance of memurai-server as a service that will be auto-started on install and on boot. The default service will use the default /etc/memurai/memurai.conf.
